Ein Karem celebrates Fr. Alphonse’s baptism.
On this Tuesday (31), the Sion community of Ein Karem (Jerusalem) celebrated 175 years since the baptism of our founder Father M. Alphonse Ratisbonne (11 days after the apparition of Our Lady of Sion). “Today, on the day that the Universal Church celebrates Don Bosco, we in Sion rejoice as well since we celebrate 175 years of the baptism of Alphonse Marie. May we, like him, renew ourselves on this feast day and make our mission lively and effective in the Church and in the world, “says Br. Tiago Rangel, a member of the community.
