The Brothers of Sion of the France-Israel region met from May 1 to 6 to study together documents of the Congregation related to Fr Alphonse Ratisbonne.

In the first two days, they made an excursion to northern Israel to visit places important to archeology, the history of Israel and early Christianity. On the following days, they met in Ein Karem and Ratisbonne (Jerusalem), where they reviewed letters written by the founder and other documents that help to understand the personality and spirituality of Fr. Alphonse.

The study concluded with the celebration of the Holy Mass on Sunday (6), presided over by His Excellency Leopoldo Girelli (Apostolic Nuncio to Israel) in the Ein Karem community, with all the brothers and sisters in homage to the anniversary of the death of Fr. Alphonse Ratisbonne.
