Mass in Spain celebrates Our Lady of Sion Day
Last Tuesday, January 20th, the Jewish-Christian Studies Center from Madrid celebrated the feast of Our Lady of Sion. The Center received the Archbishop of Madrid, Don Carlos Osorio Sierra, who presided at Mass and then stayed for a social gathering with members and friends of the Centre and representatives of other institutions.
This celebration is usual in this center, and includes partners, friends and students, as on previous occasions also attended by the President and representatives of the Federation of Jewish Communities of Spain and the Presidents of the Jewish Community of Madrid and the Jewish Community of Beth-el. This brotherly act once again highlights the good relations of friendship, dialogue and collaboration among members of the Jewish and Catholic communities, primary task of the Centre.
