Sion London Sisters organize Conference on Year of Mercy.
At the opening of the Jubilee Year of Mercy proposed by Pope Francis, the Sion Centre for Dialogue and Encounter of the Sion London Sisters organized three days of Conferences involving this theme. Fr. Donizete Ribeiro (Superior of Brothers of Sion) was the first to expose on January 7 (Thursday) on “The Works of Mercy as Imitatio Dei according to Scripture and Jewish Oral Tradition”. Dr. Jonathan Gorsky (Lecturer in Judaism at Heythrop College) and Dr. Ahmad Achtar (Lecturer in Islamic Studies at the same institution) will also have their lecture on the following months.
