Sion participates in interfaith meeting.
Last Saturday, the Sister of Sion Cristiane dos Santos and the postulant Jorge Augusto participated in an interfaith meeting in CIP (Israeli Congregation of Sao Paulo) promoted by the project “Jovens pela Paz” (Youth for Peace).
“The Project Jovens pela Paz brings with it the desire and bears witness to a very large project: the building of peace among people by means of a friendly relationship between believers of different religions,” said Diego Monteiro, one of the participants of the project.
The group was born 3 years ago by an invitation from Fr. Joseph Bizon, Raul Meyer (Centro de Cultura Judaica) and Sheikh Houssain el Bostani (Instituto Futuro).
