Active in vocation ministry, Sister Cecilia was responsible for vocational awakening of many priests of the archdiocese.
“Sister Cecilia will always be remembered for her vocation promotion. I first met her in the early days of discernment when I went looking for her in vocation ministry for an interview. Despite her poor health, she did not let herself down by any pain. She was very helpful and aware in their guidelines, “said the auxiliary Bishop Roque Costa Souza.
Her focus of evangelization was the promotion of vocational discernment courses, using new tools in the audiovisual field.
“We have to create environments where vocations can grow. But it’s not only to be willing to find a vocation: we must work together, build the Church. God is faithful, He is very good and, in religious life, if you are faithful to Him, you are happy ” Sister Cecilia used to say.
