Sisters celebrate anniversary of religious life in Jerusalem.
On February 2, the day of the Lord’s Presentation in the Temple, the sisters of Sion of Jerusalem celebrated the anniversary of the day when some of them said yes to the consecrated life. Sr. Rose Theresa celebrated 60 years of religious life and Sr. Maureena Fritz celebrated her 70th anniversary.
The Mass was celebrated by Fr. John Landy, OCD, and was attended by brothers, sisters and novices of Sion. It was also present religious from other congregations, members of the local Cancao Nova and friends of both sisters. On the same day, other religious also celebrate their entrance into religious life: Fr. Antonio Glugoski (60), Fr. Jenuário Béo (55), Fr. Vitorio Cipriani (55), Fr. Faustino Tonini (52), Fr. Antonio de Lima Brito (52), Sr. Zezé Santos (35), among others.
