Sion Brothers release book on the 50th anniversary of Nostra Aetate.
The Christian Center for Jewish Studies (CCEJ in the Portuguese acronym) of Sion Brothers in São Paulo, recently presented the fourth book of the collection “Judaism and Christianity”: Golden Jubilee of the Catholic-Jewish dialogue. The work is inspired by the fiftieth anniversary of the conciliar Declaration Nostra Aetate, which presents the Church’s manifested desire to follow and deepen inter-religious dialogue, in a specific way with Judaism. The commemoration of the golden jubilee took place in October 2015 and was received with great enthusiasm. At the time Cardinal Kurt Koch visiting Brazil, met with Cardinal of Sao Paulo Odilo Pedro Scherer, Fernando Lottenberg (CONIB), Rabbi Michel Schlesinger (CIP), and other important personalities.
