Sion celebrates renewal of religious vows in Ein Karem.
On this December 8, 2016, the day of the Immaculate Conception of Our Lady, the brothers and sisters of Sion had many reasons to celebrate. In addition to the Marian title, it was also an occasion for the celebration of the renewal of the temporary vows of Brother Victor Alves, nds. The Mass was presided by the Superior General of the Brothers of Sion Fr. Donizete Ribeiro, nds in the chapel of the community of Ein Karem, with the concelebration of Fr. Carlos Vasconcelos, nds, Fr. David Neuhaus, sj (Catholic Hebrew Speaking community) and Fr. Naoki Atarashi, ofm.
Also Benedictine Sisters, novices, apostolic and contemplative sisters of Sion, associates, friends and volunteers of Sion, members of the local Canção Nova (Catholic Broadcasting) and religious from other congregations were present at the celebration. On this special day also, Sr. Martine Zaman, nds celebrates in Bartrès (France) 25 years of religious life in Sion.
